Magnavino Cellars

Sunday, January 15, 2012, 5:30 p.m.

Magnavino Cellars is located in the heart of the Ventura County Wine Trail. Owners, Robert and Barbara Wagner, have invited WINO to hold a special dinner in their winery and they will be leading us in the tasting of their wines.  If you have never visited their facilities you are in for a very pleasant surprise.  The exterior of the building doesn’t give you a clue that you are entering a venue reminiscent of Tuscany.  There are high ceilings, elaborate chandeliers, a tasting bar of wood and granite, comfortable couches and chairs, and a view of the barrel room where the dinner will be held.  There are nine different varietals in the winery portfolio.  These artesanal wines are hand-crafted to show complexity and balance.  To make the evening complete we are happy to announce that Hector Gomez and Alfonso Bello, owners of Café Zack in Ventura, have crafted a menu to dazzle your palate.
