Beckmen Vineyards Winery
Sunday, March 6, 5:30 p.m.
Founded in 1994 by Judy and Tom Beckmen, Beckmen Vineyards is a family-run, estate-grown winery in the Santa Ynez Valley. Tom and his winemaker son Steve came to believe that the Santa Ynez region had the ideal climate and growing conditions for producing stunning Rhone varietals. This belief became a reality when the Beckmens purchased the property that would become Purisma Mountain Vineyard. Beckmen Vineyards was named Food & Wine’s “Most Promising Winery” in the magazine’s 2000 American Wine Awards. Since then the winery has lived up to that promise. In 2007 it was selected as one of the “Top 100 Wineries in the World” by Wine & Spirits magazine. Steve Beckmen will be with us to give us special insight into the wines. Chef de Cuisine Karl Holst has devised a superb meal to showcase these special wines.
